The work / Clear scope

Technology that fits the way you work.

Focused engagements and an ongoing advisory relationship for firms that need experienced judgment without building an internal IT department.

01

Business IT partnership

A known person to help set priorities, coordinate vendors and keep everyday technology decisions moving.

A light retainer creates continuity, not an unlimited repair entitlement. Hands-on delivery is separately scoped unless explicitly included.

Good for
Owners and office managers who need business-hours triage, vendor follow-through and a monthly check-in.
Not for
Unlimited support, guaranteed response times or a staffed 24/7 helpdesk.
02

Cloud workplace

A more organised Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 environment that people can use with confidence.

Start with who needs access to what, where business information belongs and how staff actually work. Agree the migration and access boundaries before making changes.

Good for
Setup, migrations, joiners and leavers, MFA and baseline account hygiene.
Not for
Enterprise platform operations or a promise of continuous monitoring.
03

Practical modernisation

Replace awkward legacy processes with tools your team can realistically adopt and maintain.

From a cumbersome form submission workflow to an Alibaba Cloud migration decision, the first question is what the business needs, not which tool is fashionable.

Good for
Office moves, legacy workflows, procurement decisions and evaluating a cloud migration.
Not for
Large transformation programmes or software projects with an undefined scope.
04

Practical AI for small teams

Decide where AI is useful, what should stay private and which small workflow changes are worth trying.

Look at the actual task, the sensitivity of the information and the cost of a wrong answer before adding another subscription or automation.

Good for
Tool selection, information guardrails, local AI options and light workflow help.
Not for
AI theatre, autonomous decision guarantees or large model development programmes.
05

Security-aware advisory

Make sensible, risk-aware decisions about access, data and everyday security hygiene.

Security informs the advice. It is not a claim to be a specialist security provider, legal adviser or an assurance that your business is compliant.

Good for
PDPO-minded practices, access reviews, account protection and proportionate risk discussions.
Not for
Penetration testing, a security operations centre or compliance certification.

Advice that starts with your business.

An owner should not have to become an IT manager to make a sensible technology decision. The work starts with what your team needs to do, what is getting in the way and what level of help is proportionate.

You can ask about one defined problem or discuss a light ongoing partnership. Either way, the scope comes first.

What I do not do

  • 24/7 managed IT support or guaranteed response SLAs.
  • Penetration testing, SOC services or compliance certification.
  • Commodity computer repair retainers or printer support contracts.
  • Enterprise support benches or unlimited hands-on fixes.

We agree the work before starting. If you need a different kind of provider, that boundary should be clear from the first conversation.

A focused next step

You do not need to have
all the answers yet.

Start with the business problem. We can work out whether this is the right kind of help.
